The founder of Walmart, one of the largest supermarkets in the United States, Sam Walton, owns more than 11,000 stores worldwide. Sam Walton was part of the US Army during World War II, and when he returned, he opened his first store in 1945. He had to borrow $25,000 from his father-in-law to open the store. But this risky step paid off. As early as the mid-1970s, Walmart was valued at more than $176 million. Walton later published booked called Made in America about his success tips, explaining the importance of following your own path and not the path of others.
